the news is out! I can finally blog

There was a reason for the silence on this blog! We had a BIG reason. Well, a reason the size of a plum!

I really don't have the right words for the love we are feeling for this baby. Yesterday, was my first "real" doctor visit (I had a scare at 7 weeks but Baby B's little heart was just a poundin then, too!) I'm a little over 12 weeks. It was so informative and made me really like my doctor. Other than "their computer canceling my appointment" before I got there (what the heck??), they were soo accommodating and let me have an ultrasound even though I had technically already had one and wasn't due for another! More on that later!

I just wanted to post our announcement pictures I had my sweet friend take with my camera! I love them and can't wait to frame the one above in the nursery. Speaking of the nursery, that sends me into panic mode, so actually let's not talk about the nursery. 

So here they are. The beginning of this sweet pregnancy! I haven't been sick so it really has been sweet (when Im actually awake). Also, I was just at 8 weeks in these pictures. Nick left for training the next day so I had to get them done because I wanted them so bad!

I'll share with you the "Waiting in Wonder" devotion I am doing (shown above)! I LOVE IT. I can not say enough good things about it!

We announced on Facebook yesterday, and let me just say, way to make a couple feel LOVED. It was one of the funnest days of my life! I think there is no better feeling than announcing your first baby (except when you announce your other babies :) ). Thats how I feel for now at least! So much excitement. I could literally hear my heart pounding when I hit "post". Ill remember that day forever!
