busy week, thankful heart

Is it Wednesday already? I have been so busy this week and will be until Sunday! I feel like I haven't been connected to the blog this week, but I am back in the swing of things. It's actually been a very exciting week!

I know those pictures don't show too much excitement going on here, but she is just so cute that I couldn't leave it out! I'm not sure how she and I will handle being a one dog family. We will adjust at some point though! She is starting Puppy Kindergarten next Tuesday. I'm trying to talk Nick into coming so I can bring my camera. This will be something I won't want to forget. There are 5 puppies enrolled. All under 4 months (Rosie is 18 weeks-Shhhh!!!) I expect Rosie to be valedictorian of the class. Hmm...

Pictured above is one of the most exciting things going on in my life right now. My friend and I have decided to start Beth Moore's Esther with some other military ladies around the area. God is just opening doors all over the place. I hate to say it, but I was surprised by how quickly so many girls jumped on the invite! Why did I have feelings of doubt? Has God not shown me he delivers. Above and beyond. Sometimes military can be a very dark place. But I have found some super great girls who have a love for Jesus. I can't ask for much more than that. Pray for us as we being this study tomorrow! I'm so thankful we have the ability to open our home and fellowship with other believers. Sweet times are ahead, friends!

And now, one of the newest additions to the family.................

Nick calls it Rosie's new carriage! He makes me laugh. We decided it was time to get practical with the vehicles and have been looking around a lot. Okay, he did all the research. Horse power and transmission fluid bores me. I zone out. I admit, I care more about what it looks like. He knows this. So, one time while he was showing me pictures of a certain car, I asked to see a picture of the engine as seriously as I could ;). It took about 5 seconds and he finally turned his head slowly with this bizarre look on his face. I just started laughing. We keep it pretty light around here.

Anyways, last night we test drove the Rogue for the second time and both had so much peace about it. We knew we had prayed about it, and then some other details came up while we were "wheeling and dealing" with the salesman. Some things are just too special to share. God is good. He has a sense of humor, too. We did have to trade in his precious Jeep. I felt like we were giving away a puppy. I almost cried when Nick saw them driving it away! Haha. He was completely fine with it, I just love seeing him drive that Jeep! Oh well! There will be another!

Now I've got a few more things to prepare for the girls tomorrow!  Hope your week is flying by smoothly! Have a sweet Wednesday!

So excited for your new bible study group! That is going to be such a blessing. I'm beginning a study on God Strong with some other wives in the area next week, and can't be too thrilled. Also, your pups is adorable, and isn't it great to have a new car? We bought one a few months ago and LOVE it, that new car smell lasts longer than you think :) Have a great day!
