Baby Bobo Gender Reveal Party

We've known that we are going to have a son for over a week now. Nick and I are going to have a son. A little boy. It's finally finally finally sinking in. And it's perfect. There is nothing more I want than our little bouncing baby boy. This post will mostly be pictures. Lots of pictures. I am also sharing our video from the reveal so you can get a real feel on how our gender reveal party went. So much fun and so many friends that got to celebrate with us. Our moms were there also which just put the cherry on top! Ah!! I'm still so excited!!!!

Here is our Gender Reveal/Name Reveal video!
and click HERE for the link if the below video doesn't happen to work on your phone

I crafted all the decorations. I think all I had to buy were frames for the chalkboards and fabric for the banner. I was able to use the mint and peach colors I had in mind from the beginning so I was so excited! Those two colors were very hard to coordinate with!

The yummy cupcakes were made at the commissary on base! They were soo good (and inexpensive!) and matched perfectly! I gave them my invite and they couldn't have matched it any closer! My mom and I made the rice crispy treats and the almond bark on those turned out just the right color! I printed the bunnies out on card stock (stole the color again from my invites), cut them out, and glued a cotton ball on the booties! My friend Kayla and I did the print outs on photoshop! I love small details!

Our guests began to arrive! I was so touched by all the friends that came to celebrate with us. When you have to live 2000 away from family, its so nice to have such special friends close by!

My awesome videographer and photographer!!!! They made this day extra special!

This guy is the reason Ustream worked so well! So thankful for him! He really seems to be listening to my instructions here, huh?

We aren't mad at each other I promise! We were in deep conversation on when to bring out THE BOX!

Almost time for baby's reveal!!

I JUST realized that most everyone filmed the reveal, but one of my blogger friends (of course!) came to the rescue and just sent me these two below. The first is pure shock and excitement..LOVE Nick's face. Its like he won some competition haha! The next is tears of pure JOY! The video I posted shows it really well, also. Thank you, Erin!!

My real life blogger friends!!!
(Emily, Katie, Jessica, me, Erin, and Katherine)

Since I wouldn't let Nick shove cake in my face at my wedding, I figured this was the perfect opportunity to do that. I'm a fun boy mom now, right??

And he got me back.

I'm pointing at the proof we had that it indeed was a boy!

I'll never forget the day we found out we were having a sweet baby boy!

Carter,

You are so loved already! I can't wait to pass you around to all our friends and let them hold the first Baby Bobo. Right before we opened that box, tears filled my eyes knowing my life was about to change completely. When I saw those blue balloons, I think my heart expanded a little because it could not contain the joy that was filling it. I am so in love with you and love feeling your little bumps and kicks everyday. You are such a joy already and every night when we get on our knees to pray for you, I fall in love with your Daddy all over again. We love you and can't wait to meet you!
