22 Week Bumpdate

How far along?
22 weeks!

Baby size?
A Papaya

Cravings?
I cut a watermelon yesterday and it was the best thing ever. Is there an amount of watermelon that is considered too much to eat in one sitting? Because I could eat a whole one. Still carbs. Things like pasta or rice. Oh and I made my mom's carrot cake for Easter and it was the bomb.

Aversions?
Nothing really. I do wish I loved my homemade taco salad more. Lettuce has to be JUST right.

Symptoms?
Backaches are beginning. Im just not used to this belly! Im starting to heave myself up when I'm getting up from floor exercises….or the couch. Lots of bathroom breaks. And shortness of breath still. That's not going away. None of these are going away anytime soon.

Mood?
Pretty good! Besides the occasional emotion moment…I actually can't remember the last time I cried.

Looking forward to?
Blogger Brunch in Del Mar this weekend! We have a big group now and need to meet some of the new girls! Plus, I love brunch.

Redoing a craigslist find! We finally have a coffee table. I need to get it sanded on top and freshly painted. I am doing it in Behr Swiss Cream and making it chalk paint. The recipe I use works great! I'll probably do some Annie Sloan dark wax, which I haven't used before so we will see!

What's new?
My expanding belly. Ive finally gotten to the point where some of the more aggressive strangers are asking. I was at the gym yesterday and randomly got told I shouldn't let my heart rate get above 140 (I wasn't doing any exercise at this point, mind you). I just smile and say thank you….
I honestly feel like Ive been told working out during pregnancy is worse than sitting on my booty eating twinkies.  I'm healthy and excited that I have worked out my entire pregnancy so far!

Nick this week?
Listening to him pray for Carter by name is the absolute best. the best.

Waiting in Wonder Memory Verse

Love is not rude, it is not self- seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

1 Corinthians 13:5-6

Woo I needed that verse this week! Sometimes it feels like a battle to love, but I always am reminded of God's UNCONDITIONAL love. That's what I need to show.

As I was reading I was tempted to hit "like" several times and then quickly realized that wasn't an option. I am so happy for you and Nick and baby Carter!!! You'll make a wonderful mommy and he a wonderful daddy. It melts my heart that he is already praying for Carter. Such a blessing for your husband. I pray for you and look forward to meeting Carter soon. <3

It's so nice that you do this once a week update about your pregnancy! I wish I had done it when I was pregnant. Pregnancy is such a special time for women, and it's often overlooked at. I love it coz you get to record all the things you want to remember about the pregnancy in the future :)
